Job Description

Managers target bill rate is $100/hr. Worker will work on a team including the manager. Will work with Initiative leads for other programs as well.


Worker must be able work onsite in San Jose, CA.


Budget renewed quarter by quarter(per end date), will likely be through July 2015.


Interviews will be WebEx first round, possibly in-person second round


The goal of Cisco Transformation is to enable and accelerate growth and innovation and to create capabilities to increase Cisco's competitiveness. This is done by building sustainable transformation excellence through execution governance oversight of the Cisco Transformation Portfolio (CTP), a comprehensive and integrated view of key transformational initiatives across the company, with a focus on building a unified approach to ideation, business case development and adoption capabilities.


CTP provides execution governance oversight for the portfolio, to ensure that the initiatives are executing successfully against their committed business case, and following CTP processes, policies, and methodologies.


Primary responsibility is execution consulting: ensure initiatives are executing against their business case commits; collaborate with finance to monitor financial performance; assess impact of changes to business case; assist in initiative dependency management; facilitate resolution of cross-initiative issues, assess and escalate risk and issues to management as needed; coach PMs on CTP processes, tools, and templates; and ensure compliance with CTP standard methodologies, policies and procedures.


Skills


• Excellent analytic and problem solving skills


• Extensive experience in development and implementation of complex multi-phase programs in Cisco


• Resourceful, creative, organized and detail oriented


• Excellent Oral and Written Communication, listening, and teambuilding skills with a strong desire and ability to influence and drive change


• Strong business acumen, and experience in dealing with all aspects of Business Operations• Demonstrated experience and success in workflow analysis and re-engineering utilizing a structured, analytical approach


• Demonstrated ability to achieve results leveraging DMAIC / Six Sigma methodologies


• Demonstrated Change Management Practices: Sponsors, Communication, Change Strategy, Risk & Mitigation, Impact Assessment, Training, Behavior Changes, Embracing Resistance, etc.


• Excellent proficiency with WebEx Social, PowerPoint, Visio, and Excel.


• Flexible and willingness to operate in unstructured environment


• Ability to work independently


Qualifications


• Must have at least 7+ years of strong proven Business Operational skills with at least 10+ years’ experience in a fast paced, high technology environment.


• Experience in large scale business process definition, transformation, and Project Management.


• Demonstrated experience in developing and deploying business process improvements with demonstrated progress and success metrics


• Strong collaboration, influencing and facilitation skills. Proven ability to influence and lead outside of organization and across roles and functions.


• Demonstrated ability to build and manage relationships within Cisco from SMEs to senior management.


• Demonstrated meeting facilitation, presentation and management skills with participants at many different levels important


• Ability to take conceptual ideas and translate them into a forward thinking strategy with defined goals and measurements with a global mindset.


• Experience in multi-tasking, managing complex programs and projects required


• Thrives in a fast paced, dynamic environment requirement flexibility and resiliency


• BS in Business Operations or Business, MBA/MS preferred


• Proven track record of success


• PMP and/or Six Sigma certification are preferred but not required.


• Enjoys working in a fast paced changing environment. Demonstrated, take-charge attitude, and able to demonstrate flexibility and resiliency.
