Overall Purpose of Job:
Senior application developer/hands-on architect for existing enterprise content management web applications and solutions. Develop, design, architect, support, and maintain enterprise content applications with latest web technologies and adherence to Project Lifecycle guidelines.


Essential Functions
Design and Develop enterprise web applications
Maintain all current Applications
Keep abreast of, research and advise on new technological developments.
Perform related duties and participate in special projects as required.



Experience/Abilities:
* Creation of SharePoint solutions and custom features
* Creation of site and list templates
* Troubleshooting SharePoint application issues
* Document monitoring and maintenance procedures
* Research and advise on new technological developments
* Support application environment in conjunction with ongoing vendor upgrade path
* Liaison and support cross business/web development initiatives
* Support, maintain, and refine existing team services
* Experience with JavaScript and jQuery
* Familiar with collaboration in Team Foundation Server
* Familiarity with DBMS*s (Oracle, DB2 and MS Sql Server) and SQL syntax.
* Familiarity with the .Net Framework (namespaces and classes).
* Creative approach to problem solving, innovation and issue resolution
* Support application environment in conjunction with ongoing vendor upgrade path
* Experience in Enterprise Content Management strategies, methods and tools.
* Experience in capture and migration mechanisms, metadata and indexing, taxonomies, ontologies and folksonomies
* Experience in process improvements, automation, workflow and search and retrieval technologies
* Experience in preferred ECM approaches
* Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate actively and proactively with others in a cross-functional team
* Ability to communicate effectively in writing, verbally and as a presenter and self-motivated and self-managed
* Strong attention to detail, and commitment to delivering high quality business solutions
* Creative approach to problem solving, innovation and issue resolution
* Minimum of 8 years of experience in Enterprise Content management solutions, with specific expertise in Microsoft SharePoint 2007/10 platforms
* Strong technical background in multiple technology platforms .Net Framework, Nintex 2007/10, DBMS*s (Oracle, DB2 and MS Sql Server) and SQL syntax. Java/J2ee, XML, AvePoint and data capture and archiving tools
* Solid knowledge of Internet/Web Protocols (HTTP, TCP/IP, SMTP, FTP)

Education:
BSC in Computer Science or equivalent experience and 8 years of IT experience
