Our client in Washington, D.C. is looking for a Director of Social Media to promote, enhance, and evolve their social media and digital strategic plan. RESPONSIBILITIES: Attract, retain, and engage stakeholders through digital and social media properties by leveraging the organization's messages through social media channels to expand its reach online. Build and imbed a social and digital culture by developing organizational guidelines and standards for social media engagement; coordinate and conduct training for staff; and produce regular reports of social media successes for senior leadership. REQUIREMENTS: College degree and 5+ years of experience in social media and digital communications; savvy and strategic thinker with excellent judgment and ability to prioritize; excellent interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate and work effectively as part of a team; proficient with latest analysis and monitoring tools and metrics; and an understanding of HTML and CSS languages.
