Modis is seeking experienced IT Security Analyst for one of their clients
Our Client, Located in Cherry Hill, NJ; is the leader in their Industry. Our client desires to hire this candidate on a Contract basis for 7 months with the option to extend

Responsibilities include:

•Provide day-to-day operational support of our Intrusion Prevention Systems (IPS) including managing relationship with IPS Service provider

•Perform security reviews of new server builds in accordance with platform security standards

•Assist in resolving IT security incidents

•Troubleshoot firewall issues with firewall support vendor including handling firewall rule and protocol changes

•Manage business relationship with firewall support vendor

•Support and administration of VPN

Required Experience & Skills
* Three or more years of experience in security field.
* Knowledge of information security, firewall and computer networking technologies and risks associated with them
* Working knowledge of CheckPoint R7x Firewalls (a plus)
* Working knowledge of packet capture tools such as tcpdump and Wireshark
* Strong organizational and problem solving abilities
* Strong verbal and written communication skills
