This Managing Consultant role ensures that client needs are satisfied through the formulation, development, implementation and delivery of application solutions in response to client requirements expressed in approved service requests. The MC is responsible for the overall project plan, budget, structure, schedule and staffing requirements for the OpenPages Implementation. Incumbents are required to manage efforts of IBM and client employees as well as third-party vendors to ensure that an integrated solution is provided to meet the client needs. Expert project management knowledge and experience are required. The MC has the overall responsibility for project cost and schedule, for meeting contractual deliverables, and for clearly communication project progress in the form of regular status reporting, project plans, and status meetings.

You will be responsible for managing implementation and integration of client solutions, based on OpenPages' products, for various clients within the US.

* Delivering high-quality software solutions that meet and exceed our clients' expectations, on-time and on-budget
* Leading and managing project teams
* Building and maintaining client relationships
* Managing priorities and expectations across a variety of internal and external stakeholders
* Collaborating with clients to resolve project issues and manage project risks
* Working on day-to-day project scheduling, time management, and resource management
* Tracking and reporting on project status and achievement of project deliverables
* Maintaining overall ownership for project success and quality assurance

Responsibilities

* To lead and be accountable for client projects, including:
o Support the Client Director during agreement process and SOW review and to review effort and budget estimates
o Establish and maintain project plan from project kick-off to production roll-out
o Overall delivery of projects comprising implementation and integration of OpenPages' Solutions at client sites.
o Managing the on-going client relationship and internal project team

* To directly undertake project management activities, including leading, monitoring, assigning work and delegating, managing all aspects of the project delivery and reporting on project progress
* To identify opportunities to sell additional services and support offerings during and after the customer implementation

Essential Requirements

* Extensive hands-on Project Management experience (preferably within a large traditional consulting firm within financial services, IT consulting organization, or information systems integrator)
* Ability and willingness to conduct vast majority of the work at client sites and travel up to 50% of the time.
* Experience managing and delivering technical software solutions
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to establish and maintain long-term client relationships as well as establish and manage project-specific client expectations
* Proven ability to manage to project objectives and milestones, and meet client time, budget and quality requirements
* Well developed client relationship skills and handling conflict resolution
* Good knowledge of Operational Risk Management, Compliance, and/or SOX
* Proficiency at managing multiple projects simultaneously
* Excellent leadership, interpersonal, communication and presentation skills demonstrating an ability to manage staff in an operational environment and deliver to agreed timescales
* Working knowledge of formal systems development and integration methodologies, approaches, techniques and tools
Required
* Bachelor's Degree
* At least 4 years experience in Project Management Professional
* Basic knowledge in Operational Risk Management, Compliance, and/or SOX
* At least 2 years experience in Strong technology background
* Readiness to travel 50% travel annually
* English: Fluent

Preferred
* Business/Management
* At least 6 years experience in Project Management Professional
* At least 2 years experience in Operational Risk Management, Compliance, and/or SOX
* At least 4 years experience in Strong technology background
* At least 4 years experience in Excellent Communications Skills
