This is a direct hire opportunity in Raleigh, NC. Relocation package available.

Purpose of Position

The individual will be responsible for the design, configuration, implementation, and technical support of the SAP modules (Sales and Distribution) within the QTC process team serving as a strong functional and technical resource. The position will serve as the functional and technical leader for all requirements involving the QTC processes.  A commanding knowledge of the Sales and Distribution functions and modules is required and must be an excellent communicator and leader.  The company has a global SAP presence and this position is a key member of the team to provide support and implementation services to all global locations using or implementing SAP.  Perform as a key member of project teams through all phases of blueprinting, realization, go-live and rollout, and post implementation support.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop SAP system design and configure solutions to enable corporate strategic objective and drive business value.
• Work through complex SAP process problems and document the business process as configured in SAP, test and ensure proper integration with other modules.
• Provide input on technical implications of specific requirements of SAP solutions, including data conversion, development of technical objects, and interfaces.
• Demonstrate key knowledge of EDI processes for Quote-to-Cash business needs and related technical experience.
• Perform detailed configuration of specific SAP modules related to Sales, Distribution and Logistics Execution.
• Work closely with other process teams to facilitate project progress and to ensure an integrated system solution.
• Perform as a key member of project team and demonstrate solid project management skills through all phases of realization, go-live and rollout, and post implementation support.
• Develop GTS system design and configure solutions to enable corporate strategic objective and drive business value.
• Work closely with other IT leadership, business users and process teams to facilitate project progress and to ensure integrated system solutions.
• Perform as a key member of project teams through all phases of realization, go-live and rollout, and post implementation support

 Background/skills 

• Candidate must have at least 5 to 7 years of hands-on experience configuring SAP, especially version ECC 6.0. This should include specific knowledge in the following areas
• Delivery Processing (Including Picking, Packing Pricing, Outputs)
• Shipment Processing (Creation, Planning,)
• Understand Interfaces to External Warehouse Management / Freight Costing systems
• Demonstrate key knowledge of EDI processes for Quote-to-Cash business needs and related technical experience.
• SAP Freight Costing and a strong technical understanding of SAP Transportation
• Knowledge and experience supporting GTS (Global Trade Services) functions.
• Possess a bachelor’s degree in IT or business field.
• Must be willing to travel extensively during implementation phases (30-50%).
