| Job Description | This position requires the candidate to be an EXPERT in SQL SERVER DEVELOPMENT & SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS). Othe technologies being used are VB.NET, SQL Server 2005/2008, SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), XML, SOAP, ASP.NET, object-oriented application development and RDBMS methodology, or any combination of education and experience that provides the skills and abilities necessary to perform this job. Working knowledge of system application implementation, enhancement and support methods and practices. Comprehensive working knowledge of computer systems analysis and programming techniques and procedures, including: consulting with users to determine hardware, software or system functional specifications; design, development, documentation, analysis, creation, testing, coding, debugging, or modification of computer systems or programs based on and related to user design specifications. Working knowledge of IS standards and quality methods and metrics. General familiarity of user business practices, concepts and terminology sufficient to support the applications. Language proficiency in English, with excellent written and verbal fluency. Experience will include problem solving, creating system and program level documentation, complex database design concepts, knowledge of basic business management concepts. Position also requires a working knowledge of all aspects of the project development life cycle and the ability to multi-task while effectively managing time and meeting deadlines. Knowledge of clinical and financial hospital patient management, human resources, accounts payable, general ledger, payroll, time and attendance, decision support, data warehouse and EDI translation applications is a plus. |
