The job duties will include the following:

Incumbent will be responsible for verification testing of Tier 4 engine embedded control software. This individual will develop test procedures based on engine control requirements, perform testing as required per test procedures, and document test results.

This person will identify key test points in the software code or model and will perform troubleshooting of any identified software or system defects. Position requires special skills to work with 4D and 5D data tables.


Requirements:

A successful candidate should have:

Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering with a strong math background.

Desired experience includes a general understanding of engine systems and functionality, previous experience in testing embedded software controls and writing test scripts.

Experience with fuels systems testing, Vector CAN tools, Cat ET or similar engine service tool, FAST, or dSPACE.

A solid understanding of software development process and experience in software development (C, C++, Matlab/Simulink) in an embedded control environment is required.
