Company Description:
Our client provides IT technology support, integration and infrastructure for hundreds of health systems, thousands of hospitals and 80,000+ non-acute healthcare providers.
Responsibilities:
- Assists in building new physical and virtual servers, migrating data to them, and ensuring data integrity.
- Strong hands-on administration experience on Windows 2003/2008 Server, Domains, Active Directory, DNS, and DHCP.
- Requires knowledge of EMC Storage Systems, as well as iSCSI and fiber channel. Must be able to create LUNs and Meta-LUNs to *carve* disk up for servers.
- Set and document standards for IT operations.
- Identify and propose technical solutions to business problems and needs.
- Work closely with development management to plan for future architectural design.
- Requires broad knowledge of technology
- Architect virtualization, storage and systems
- Installs and configures specialty software to monitor network for errors, inventory, and other network issues.
Requirements:
- Associate*s degree in network systems, or similar field, or 2 years’ experience, or combination of both.
- Knowledge of storage, virtualization, de-duplication and emerging technologies required.
- Must possess the technical skills listed below:
