OVERVIEW:

QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field • Expert knowledge of Perl 5, and MySQL 5 (minimum of 2+ years exp) • Intermediate knowledge of JavaScript, XSLT, HTML, CSS (2+ years exp) • Experience in Service Oriented Architecture and Object Oriented Programming • Familiar with AJAX, CSS, DHTML, XHTML, JavaScript Frameworks, and mod-Perl in a LAMP environment • Strong knowledge of JavaScript and at least one JavaScript framework
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Architecting, developing, and working on a wide array of projects written on object-oriented Perl/JavaScript • Gather functional & technical requirements from stakeholders and technical users in order to plan releases and updates • Interface with cross-functional teams in the development process from start to finish • Evaluate code to ensure that it is valid, properly structured, meets industry standards and is compatible with browsers, devices, or operating systems • Troubleshoot and debug applications that occur outside of the regular release cycle • Provide recommendations for improvements to site architecture, design, and functionality
