DataCede Staffing seeks a Senior Data Warehouse Business Analyst (Consultant) for our client a Global Investment Bank. This long term consulting opportunity will be based in Jersey City NJ. The selected candidate will possess the following Data Warehouse Business Analyst & Metadata Model & Data Governance experience.
Job Title: Senior Data Warehouse Business Analyst
Job Description:
Senior Level Data Warehouse Business Analyst (consultant) to Data Warehouse Management Department for a major new Enterprise Data Warehouse platform project. Client is creating a new Enterprise Data Warehouse and building out a new Metadata model. Client requires a consultant with deep Data Warehouse / Data Governance knowledge and experience.
This resource will:
Review and understand the customer on-boarding needs of their EDW application and the actual business needs of the bank’s user base.
Apply knowledge of business needs ensuring that requirements are delivered during the Project Life Cycle.
Plan and perform testing, data quality remediation, and data migration responsibilities.
This resource will be responsible for not only getting involved in the full project life cycle, from gathering and documenting business requirements, through testing to systems implementation, but more importantly, having the vision to help guide the process of implementing change, establishing process, and the ability to rewrite requirements in order to align them with business needs, make them more usable, and to help sell these solutions to business stakeholders.
Candidate MUST have:
- Strong project experience in the creation of an Enterprise Data Warehouse
- Data Governance experience
- Metadata experience – experience in building out metadata models
- Strong Business and IT interface experience.
- Ability to sell the use/value of solutions to the business
