Job Description

We are looking for a full-time Director of Web Development with at least 10 years of web development experience, with at least part of that being in eCommerce. We are executing an ambitious roadmap of exciting product developments, and are seeking people with entrepreneurial enthusiasm, a creative mind, and a desire to build something innovative. You will lead a team that is developing an innovative, online discovery shopping experience on a Java stack. We follow agile development practices and believe in frequent releases and iterations.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Engineering

Minimum 3 years of agile web development experience

Experience managing remote teams

Experience in eCommerce

Significant experience in Java

Experience with Spring, Hibernate, and J2EE

Database design and optimization with MySQL

CSS, Javascript, HTML

Unit testing

Good communication skills

Track record of delivering high quality software on time under tight deadline
