Position Responsibilities / Duties:

  • Provide business analysis to all BCDAD areas in workflow improvement, documentation, information research and dissemination on all operational related issues.  Research new regulatory requirement and rules and determine impact to operations.
  • Capture requirements using interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, surveys, site visits, business process descriptions, use cases, scenarios, business analysis, task and workflow analysis
  • Critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, and decompose high-level information into details, abstract up from low-level information to a general understanding.
  • Proactively communicate and collaborate with customers to analyze information needs and functional requirements and deliver the following artifacts as needed:  (Functional Requirements (Business Requirements Document), Screen and Interface Designs)
  • Strong analytical and product management skills required, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret customer business needs and translate them into application and operational requirements.
  • Be a self-starter by working independently to identify and/or complete tasks, and successfully engage in multiple initiatives simultaneously while driving and challenging business units on their assumptions of how they will successfully execute their plans
  • Maintain all audit (IAD, Regulatory, and External Audit examination comments by logging and follow-p for solutions and/or responses)
  • Prepare all Senior Management meeting minutes, maintain, distribute and safe keep
  • Develop and Maintain BCDAD Departmental Manuals – update all BCDAD departmental manuals as needed annually.  Includes Loan Services, Trade Credit, ISS, Doc Control, PSC, CBDA I, Deposit and Money Transfer and Custody.

Experience / Knowledge Requirements:

5 to 7 years of banking operations experience, excellent knowledge of banking fundamentals, information technology and general knowledge of basic financial accounting.  Ability to analyze workflows and develop improvements based on research, interviews, and subject matter expertise

Required Skills / Abilities:

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, ability to analyze operational issues and develop alternative solutions.  Documentation of these solutions and other administrative capabilities.  Excellent mastery of MS Office suite and excellent administrative and follow-up ability.  Ability to work independently and interact professionally with a diverse group, executives, managers, and subject matter experts
