A Premier International Bank in Jersey City, NJ is seeking a full time, permanent, Sr. Webmethods Developer (BPM & BAM)
Overall Purpose of Job:
To design, develop and implement Business Process Management (BPM) and Business Activity Monitoring (BAM) applications and solutions.
Essential Functions
• Gather BPM and BAM requirements from business and prepare design documentation and deliverables in accordance with BTMU PLC.
• Perform coding under the direction of supervisor. Unit test code thoroughly and confirm the results with supervisor.
• Participate in design and peer code reviews to gain understanding of process and programs. Review UAT entrance deliverables, making recommendations, if any, to superiors as to deliverable completeness.
• May act in various capacities for projects, including PM, IT lead and resource, either fulfilling one role or multiple roles for a project
• Prepare and enhance best practices and coding and testing standards for BPM/BAM development and SOA Governance.
• Debug and troubleshoot production environment under the direction of supervisors. Support the analysis and resolution of Help Desk Tickets and performs maintenance for assigned applications.
• Support vendor developed applications and products and act as a backup and assistant to the primary staff supporting
• Continuously improve knowledge of BPM/BAM/SOA Governance and how the bank can leverage this technology to its fullest potential and keep abreast of emerging trends and industry direction.
• Fulfill administrative duties such as weekly status reporting
Experience/Abilities: • Three+ years experience working with the following Software AG products: Process Engine (BPM), Task Engine, Integration Server, MWS, Broker, Mediator, Optimize, Business Rules, CAF, CentraSite or equivalent experience on other market leading BPM product.
• Three+ years experience with BASH, Perl, Python, Ruby or other scripting and OS Shell languages.
• Five+ years experience with Java development.
• Experience with SOA technologies and standards: XML, XSD, XSLT, WS-Policy and WS-Security, WSDL, SOAP and REST based web services, SOAP/JMS.
• Strong understanding of message oriented middleware.
• Strong in one or more of the following RDBMS’s to support applications development and design: Oracle, DB2, SQL Server, PSQL and etc.
• Strong familiarity with Unix/Linux and Windows OS.
• Two+ years experience working with FICO Blaze Advisor.
• Proficient with IBM WebSphere J2EE and WAS software development tools.
• Required knowledge of: HTML, UML, Knowledge of relational databases, J2EE design patterns, JavaScript, Struts, Ajax, Hibernate, XML, JSF
• Knowledge of Microsoft technologies such as .NET, C# and SharePoint.
• Proficient with Tidal Enterprise Scheduler as Administrator
• Good (written and oral) communication skill
Education: College Degree or a combination of High school diploma and equivalent experience in IT courses as required
