21st Century Oncology is a leading developer and operator of radiation therapy centers, medical oncology, and multi-specialty practices throughout the US. Our centers, which are freestanding and hospital based, provide a full spectrum of radiation therapy services and medical oncology treatment to cancer patients, and multi specialty care to patients in the areas of Urology, Gynecology and medical specialties. We are growing and need highly qualified candidates to join our team.
We are searcing for an Clinical Application Specialist to join our growning IT team. The IT Application Support Specialist’s role is to deliver support to end users in the organization about how to use various types of Healthcare software programs efficiently and effectively in fulfilling business objectives. This includes troubleshooting applications and software for all internal customers, such as Record and Verify Systems, Treatment Planning, and any other clinical application. The Application Support Specialist is also responsible for assisting in the design, delivery, and improvement of in-house software applications and application training programs.
- Proven experience with troubleshooting principles, methodologies, and issue resolution techniques
- Ability to develop and interpret technical documentation for training and end user procedures
- Knowledge of trends in technology relating to software applications
- Good understanding of the organization’s goals and objectives
- Must be highly detailed, self motivated and directed with the ability to absorb new ideas and concepts quickly and effectively prioritize and multi-task in a high-pressure environment
- Good analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Very strong customer service orientation
- Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
- College Diploma or university degree in the field of computer science, information systems, and 3 years equivalent work experience
- In-depth, hands-on knowledge of and experience with Healthcare applications including, but not limited to, Varian, Elekta, Siemens and other vendor applications applied to radiation therapy
- Spanish speaking ability heavily preferred
WORK CONDITIONS:
- Travel is required
- Sitting for extended periods of time
