A Premier International Bank in Jersey City, NJ is seeking a full time, permanent, VP/Technical ESB Lead(around (Middleware & WMB):


Overall Purpose of Job:
Technical lead for ESB development team in the Common Systems Dept. Possess understanding of Enterprise Integration architecture, banking business and strong management skills to maintain high level of architectural soundness of ESB solution, guide Middleware team members through complex technical projects. Plan and implement tactical and strategic solutions for ESB environments.

Essential Functions
Provide guidance and solutions for overall ESB development framework
Provide and implement tactical and strategic plans for ESB solutions
Ensure adherence and compliance to organization policies and procedures
Manage, support and execute project assignments and production applications and environments
Advise on existing and emerging ECM trends and best approaches and practices
Experience/Abilities:
* In depth understanding of Enterprise Architecture Integration and concepts of Enterprise Service Bus related strategies, methods and tools
* High level of hands on experience with WebSphere Message Broker or related/compatible technologies
* Excellent mentoring and management skills
* Strong research and problem solving skills. Excellence in information architecture, interoperability, integration, access control and security.
* Solid application design and architecture and documentation skills
* Experience in process improvements, automation, workflow and search and retrieval technologies
* Experience in preferred BTMU ESB approaches
* Superior interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate actively and proactively with others in a cross-functional team
* Ability to communicate effectively in writing, verbally and as a presenter and self-motivated and self-managed
* Strong attention to detail, and commitment to delivering high quality business solutions
* Creative approach to problem solving, innovation and issue resolution
* Minimum of 8 years of experience in Enterprise Application Integration , with specific expertise with WMB based solutions.
* Strong technical background and hands *on experience in multiple technology platforms WMB, WTX, BPM, DBMS*s (UDB (DB2), Oracle, MS Sql Server) and SQL syntax. Java/J2ee, XML
* Solid knowledge and experience with financial business protocols such as EDI, SWIFT and BAI
Education:
BSC in Computer Science or equivalent experience, 12 years of IT experience
