Position Overview:
The Digital Commerce Project Manager will deliver web-based solutions for our mobile, tablet, and core web experiences by managing strategic projects in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership qualities and 3 to 5 years of project management experience, with a demonstrated history of working on ecommerce projects and implementing ecommerce technologies. The candidate should be naturally curious, passionate about driving business processes into high-quality solutions, committed about meeting deadlines, and someone who has demonstrated flexibility in meeting the needs of a challenging, dynamic, and fast-paced business.
Responsibilities:
- General project management support activities to include project planning, risk management, resource analysis, internal and 3rd party vendor coordination, communicating project status, etc.
- Facilitate an agile software development lifecycle for digital commerce. Help us build great teams that build great products.
- Partner in product discovery to develop requirements for approved mobile, tablet, or core web projects enabling agile development teams to deliver efficiently.
- Work with project stakeholders and external resources to deliver projects on time, on budget, and without sacrificing quality.
- Oversee project requirements, scope, change management issues, and drive adherence to multiple project timelines.
- Effectively apply best practice methodology, define process, and enforce project standards.
- Resolve and/or escalate issues in a timely fashion.
- Responsible for proper organization and documentation of project information.
- Document meeting minutes and issues, risks, decisions, and follow up with issues log.
- Use analytical and problem-solving skills to avoid scope creep of projects.
Required Experience and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in business-related field highly preferred or equivalent work experience.
- 3 – 5 years of project management experience highly preferred.
- SDLC experience focuses on digital commerce initiatives that include: mobile, tablet, and core web experiences.
- Experience with ecommerce technologies: hybris, ATG, Demandware, Omniture SiteCatalyst, SiteSpect, Foresee, Scene7, Clicktale, TeaLeaf, etc.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Conflict resolution/management.
- Challenges the status quo, champions change, and influences others to change.
- Technical aptitude and understanding of “how the web works.”
