Application Development Engineer:

-Work on the development, maintenance, and operation support of our search engine related applications or systems by performing requirement confirmation and resource allocation.
-Design, develop, implement, document, test, maintain and support search engine related applications and systems based on SOLR enterprise search engine platform. -Improve search engine related systems, such as data import, data monitor and backup system. Research new techniques to improve business system performance. -Communicate with internal users and Business System Analysts to determine technical solutions and best practices for system integration.
-Analyze user requirements to develop software specifications and review them with internal support team to design website system solutions.
-Design system architecture and database for the search engine system.
-Develop Database/Application software or web applications using SQL Server and object-oriented programming languages/skills.
-Review and evaluate projects completed by the support team.
-Research and evaluate new technologies and integrate them with current business systems.
-Assist in testing and launching software projects in a production environment. -Implement system configuration changes and provide support for move-in teams on production environments.
-Monitor website, search engine system and related application alerts to troubleshoot issues.


Job Requirements:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Information System, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field;
2 years experience in application development. Also requires background in:
1.) JAVA; 3+ years
2.) J2EE; 3+ years
3.) SOLR; 1+ year
4.) SQL Server; 5+ years
5.) ERD and DB Normalization;
6.) HTTP/XML; 3+ years
7.) JavaScript; 3+ years
8.) SDLC; 3+ years
9.) HTML: 4+ years
