Overview:

Presidio is seeking a Senior level Cisco Voice Engineer to provide remote support to our clients from our NOC facility located in Hauppauge, LI, NY.  The Voice Engineer will be responsible for monitoring, troubleshooting and configuration of customers’ Unified Communications (UC) networks.  Additionally, they will be responsible to provide customers with recommended solutions to prevent future incidents.  A high level of understanding is Cisco internetworking technology is needed.  This is an internal position, supporting customers remotely, using in-house tools and is a great opportunity to work with best-in-class technology, collaborate with engineers with expertise in their domains and a passion to deliver quality solutions to our customers that go above and beyond the customer’s expectations.  No travel is required to customer sites.  This position will report to the NOC Operations Manager.

Requirements:

  •  5+ yrs. experience configuring and troubleshooting Cisco Voice networks.  Candidates must possess strong skills and experience across a range (not necessarily all) of the following skills:
    • Managing and monitoring and support of UC solutions that include Cisco Communications Manager (v.4)
    • Unity, Unity Connection
    • UCCX
    • Presence
    • IPCC
    • Mobile Applications
    • Must be able to multitask and effectively mange time
    • Must be able to work independently on issues but also work in a group when needed.
    • Strong customer facing communications skills
    • CCNA or CCVP certification or equivalent experience
