What you need for this position:

- 5+ years of Cobol Development and support experience
- AcuCobol and/ or MF Cobol a MUST. Applicants without AcuCobol or MF Cobol will not be considered. (We utilize AcuCobol on Linux and UNIX)
- Strong business applications experience such as G/L or A/P or a strong understanding of accounting principles/ practices
- Solid in relational database design and SQL
- MS Office Experience and ability to quickly learn in-house tools

What you'll be doing:

- Design, create, and maintain business software applications
- Test and document work
- Customer interfacing to resolve software application problems
- Review work of others/ coach junior developers.
- General business and/or domain knowledge of applicable applications
- Read and write technical documentation
