The Systems Engineer role develops Proof of Concept for customers based on the direction and Scope of Work provided by the Solutions Consultant or customer requirements.  The Systems Engineer will also be responsible for conducting MPS field assessments to promote our MPS strategies in collaboration with our Solutions Consultants.  The Systems Engineer makes use of the company’s technologies, the company’s developed Software and 3rd party technologies to architect a solution based on the specifications provided.  The Systems Engineer will be responsible for identifying, tracking and resolving customer issues with Enterprise Business Development’s products and services.

Responsibilities:

• Architect, implement and support solutions that meet or exceed customer expectations.
• Collaborate with Solutions Consultants to develop and test solutions that meet customer SOW.
• Perform MPS assessments as directed and scheduled by Solutions Consultants and make product recommendations that wrap around printer products as well as incorporating other key technologies supported by EBD’s business segments.
• Escalate field issues to headquarters and manage the issue through to resolution.
• Provide market information to headquarters for enhancement of company’s products.
• Develop, support, and train our partners across multiple channels on all products that drive EBD sales.
• Collaborate with Solutions Team to develop customer training and documentation.
• Provide technical solutions and follow-up on seed placements with customers and where applicable, assist with installation of evaluation units.
• Manage technical questions and follow up with Channel Partners or Enterprise Accounts.
• Support and reply to RFIs and RFPs as requested.

Requirements:

• MCITP/MCSE Certified (required)
• VCP/VACP – VMWare Certified Professional (highly desired)
• Citrix CCEE or CCIA Professional (highly desired)
• DSCE (highly desired)
• Candidate should be self-driven and willing to work with others to ensure knowledge transfer
• Candidate should be open to new ideas
• Travel is a requirement
• Understands and applies project management methods and processes to define, plan, cost, resource, track and ensure successful implementation of proposed Solutions projects.
• 3 or more years experience in one of the following fields is desired:
• Experience with Managed Print Services and Solutions
• Experience with Large Format Display and Digital Signage
• Experience withVirtualization Products
• A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Related Field (preferred)
• VMWare (VCP/VACP) or Citrix (CCEE/CCIA) Certification in Virtualization Field can be substituted
