Job Description
- F-35 Mission Systems Design Engineer
F-35 Mission Systems Design is performed by a tri company coalition that includes Northrop Grumman, Lockheed Martin and BAE Systems in the UK. The successful candidate will fill the role of an F-35 Mission Systems Design Engineer. The candidate will be responsible for developing Requirements Work Packages (RWP), creating Use Cases and Activity Diagrams in Rhapsody that model the behavior and document the design of capabilities that satisfy upper level requirements. Candidate will also be responsible for generating software requirements for each activity using the Adobe FrameMaker tool. The candidate will specify and document system interfaces using the SIMS software tool; Will also support the software organizations who are consumers of our products to help them interpret the software requirements. The candidate will also analyze and disposition System Problem Reports (SPR) that effect the UML design or SW requirements. In addition, the candidate must have excellent collaborative skills in order to ensure the design is compatible with system architectural guidelines and acceptable to consumer software organizations.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
BS Degree in Electrical Engineering or related technical discipline with 5 years of experience is required. Previous system design and experience in the use of Rhapsody and Adobe FrameMaker are also required. The candidate must possess excellent communication skills as well as proficiency with Microsoft Office Tools. US Citizenship with an active Secret clearance is required. Must be able to obtain ITAR Custodian status.
Preferred Qualifications:
Master's Degree in related engineering field. Top Secret Clearance.
