Software Engineer .NET C#
Department: Engineering (Desktop Applications)
Type: Full-time
TicketNetwork is seeking a Software Engineer (.NET C#) who will be responsible for developing applications and systems software for a wide variety of environments including multi-tier, client/server, and WCF applications. We have many projects for both new and existing products that will allow you to make real contributions to a winning team.
Job duties (include, but are not limited to):
- Business specific analysis, technical design, and coding in an Agile environment
- Working on a team that designs, develops, & maintains commercial software components, reports, and datamart that support the primary and secondary ticketing industry
- Analyzing and solving complex business problems
- Troubleshooting applications and quickly resolving production issues
- Assisting team members and product users with problems
Qualifications:
- One (1) to three (3) years of experience in application/web development in the .NET framework (C#), required
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience, required
- Strong problem solving skills, required
- Ability to understand processes by reading code, required
- Experience with SQL Server 2008, required
- Project and goal-oriented mindset, required
- Exceptional attention to detail, strong time management skills, and ability to meet short deadlines, required
- Basic understanding of accounting, preferred
- Familiarity with the SCRUM project management methodology, preferred
