QA Engineer with LoadRunner

We're looking for a self-motivated Senior QA Engineer to join our team.  In this role you'll focus on performance and load testing of moderate to complex applications to determine system performance, capacity, stability and scalability.  This position requires development and maintenance of performance test plans, scenarios, and scripts and the design of test data strategies, workload and usage models.  Selected individual will perform test executions, monitoring, diagnostics, analysis and reporting of results to identify and troubleshoot system performance issues.  Requires after hours and weekend work. 

• An undergraduate degree, preferably in Computer Science, or equivalent experience 
• At least 4 years’ experience in QA with 2+ years practical experience performance/load testing
• Excellent organization, analytical/critical thinking skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with business and technical staff
• Financial data knowledge
• Practiced QA testing methodologies
• Requires HP LoadRunner and multiple protocol performance testing skills and experience; Shunra and other tool experience preferred
• Proven experience in implementing performance test strategies and designing, executing, and analyzing complex tests
• Strong understanding of underlying technologies
• Comprehensive knowledge of software engineering, quality assurance and implementation processes
• Leadership and mentoring skills and experience

The candidate should have a wide base of knowledge about the technologies involved with analysis – networking, databases, operating systems, application development processes, etc.  He/she must be able to work independently or as part of a team, be able to work on multiple applications/projects concurrently, and be able to competently handle all facets of performance and load testing including working with the business and developers, requirements gathering, complex scripting with various protocols, test configurations and executions, analysis and reporting.
