Computech needs a Database Administrator (DBA) to be an innovator with significant experience providing database support to different types of database platforms, and interfacing directly with stakeholders and development teams.

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Must have experience with UNIX
• Advanced knowledge in database administration, including development and administration of database throughout the complete SDLC. 
• Knowledge of at least two popular database brand name (e.g. PostgreSQL, Microsoft SQL Server and MySQL)  
• Experience modeling and maintaining relational databases using Power Designer or Erwin or similar tool.
• Knowledge of JDBC, ODBC and other connectivity methods required.
• Understanding in data warehousing, data consolidation and data integration.
• Familiar with troubleshooting performance problems in OLTP applications.
• Experience with business intelligence, workflow, information systems business analysis, and requirements management.

 Preferred Skills and Experience:

• Knowledge of Non-relational databases (e.g., MongoDB, CouchDB) and cloud development experience is a plus.
