Description: Business Analyst needed for proprietary Listed Companies Administration Systems; LCA/Weblca/eGov applications. BA will be responsible for documenting, validating, presenting, clarifying and negotiating with business users and development team in regard to requirements and use of system. BA will need to perform in a fast-paced, high tech environment and handle multiple tasks at a time. Other tasks include user education and training, coordinating UAT and creatively brainstorming and proposing solutions to business problems. He/she must recognize and resolve differences between technical problems and business process issues.
Skills: * Must have strong SQL skills (queries and joins) and data analysis tools * Must have experience with modern requirements capture methodologies such as Agile * Must have experience on Large Systems and understand effective SDLC processes and how to apply them in a way that works (as opposed to being an ad hoc type of BA). * Must have excellent understanding of technology life cycles and the concepts and practices required to implement effective information systems. * Demonstrable experience in the following skills: Facilitation, Interviewing, negotiation, written communication, presentation, and technology management * Financial sector domain knowledge and able to work with senior management * Excellent interpersonal skills and highly experienced at dealing with clients/users at all levels, singly and in groups. * Demonstrates a strong awareness of the uses of IT within the industry sector and specifically within competitive or associated organizations operating in the same market. * Evidence of troubleshooting and solving problems in a highly technical customer focused service environment * At least degree/post graduate level education in a Computing/Software/Technology related subject, or equivalent experience.
