Galen Technology Solutions is seeking a Siebel Support/Administrator for our direct client located in Newark, NJ. The Siebel Administration position with an emphasis on the Siebel Sales module, within the Production Operations organization, is responsible supporting multiple Siebel implementations and related applications. Additionally, the role requires working on strategic projects with business partners and systems groups providing technical services on a wide range of technologies, running primarily on Windows platforms. Candidate's who have worked on the Siebel Sales and Marketing Module with an emphasis on Quote to Sale process and Integration with the SAS Marketing engine would be preferred.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide 2nd and 3rd level support for multiple Siebel CRM environments, on versions ranging from 8.0x to 8.1x.
  • Participate in and/or lead infrastructure build activities as appropriate
  • Maintain the current response and availability service levels with different business units.
  • Monitor and resolve incidents associated to this product suite, work with siebel support when necessary.
  • Work with the team in resolving production issues and co-ordinate support activities with other technology partners.
  • Interact with the onshore team as required, for issue resolution, status updates, product metrics, etc.
  • As requested/necessary, support weekend change windows

  Skills Required:

  • Excellent knowledge of Siebel administration, in a large implementation with several servers that are clustered and load balanced.
    Excellent knowledge of the three tier Siebel architecture.
    Experience with Load balancing, Assignment Manager, Workflow administration, CTI, Symbolic URL and Siebel OBIEE.
    Excellent knowledge of Migration of Siebel repository & deployment of the Siebel application.
    Windows Server administration highly preferred.
    Excellent analytical, communication skills and prior experience in working directly with end customers.
    Experience in troubleshooting and being accountable to application end users.
    Experience with Siebel Configuration and knowledge of the different Siebel components.
  • Independently work on resolving issues with minimal support.
  • Excellent Knowledge of upgrade of Siebel Environment's.
  • Prior experience migrating from SalesForce to Siebel.
  • Working with SAS Analytical Module to interface with the Siebel Marketing Module.
  • Experience with the SQL Server 2008 Database Environment.
