QlikView Application Developer

If you have 5+ years of experience with SQL and are looking to work on high profile/cutting edge BI projects, please respond!

• Must be proficient with SQL and have a thorough foundation designing databases, warehouses and/or marts. Have an ability to foresee, plan out and implement and support a full deployment either as member of a project team or solely by himself i.e. an architect.
• Have sufficient knowledge to implement an n-tier architecture model.
• Knowledge of SAP, Oracle, SQL Server and other database technologies a plus.
• Must be able to deliver projects in short time.
• Some programming may be required.
• Problem solving skills and, algorithm design are a must.
• Business intelligence skills are a must.

• Requires travel to client sites.
• Also must be fluent in communication to handle questions on product at demos.
• Presentation skills are a must.

• Knowledge of one or more of the following:  QlikView, Spotfire, Tableau, MicroStrategy, Business Objects.

Develop QlikView applications to support the Product Sales Process, provide Technical Support to ongoing projects and be able to execute on any consulting assignment from initial meet, statement of work, Analysis, Design, Development to Production Implementation.

• Building Data Models
• Developing Scripts (SQL)
• Analyzing end user requirements and developing technical solutions
• Developing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
• Designing creative and visually effective user interfaces that address Key Performance Indicators
• Creating and presenting and application in a way that tells the "business story" and addresses the solutions to the business issue
• Project Management
• Gaining and sharing internal knowledge

Required Skills:

• Strong SQL
• Ability to think strategically
• User Interface and Visual Design Skills
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with BI tools is a plus, ability to pick up new technical skills quickly
• 3+ years of VB Script and/or other scripting/programming languages
• 4+ years hands-on experience with relational databases and building star schemas
• 3+ years of experience working with finance end-users
• HTML, ASP, AJAX and Java Script are a plus
• Prior experience to creating sales demos is a plus!
• Excellent communication, documentation, presentation skills required
• Strong communication, analytical and interpersonal skills working within cross functional teams
• Proven project management and time management skills
