Responsibilities:

The Java Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing web-based Java applications to support business requirements. 

  • Follows approved life cycle methodologies, creates design documents, and performs program coding and testing
  • Resolves technical issues through debugging, research, and investigation
  • Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field
  • Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
  • Performs a variety of tasks
  • A degree of creativity and latitude is required
Qualifications:
  • Experience in Java/J2EE 
  • Bachelor's Degree in computer science or related field
  • Knowledge  of SQL, PL/SQL, J2EE, Weblogic, ESB, SOAP/REST Web Services, Hibernate, Spring, Seam, JSF2, Oracle, SQL, JCR repositories, BPMN2.0
  • Methodologies Agile/Scrum, SVN, Maven, Jira, Hudson/Jenkins
  • Ability to work in maintenance and production support mode
  • Ability to work independently and in a small, dynamic, team-oriented environment
  • Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and pay close attention to detail

Preferred Skills and Experience:

  • Knowledge of ColdFusion 7 and Power Builder 10
  • Certified Java Developer and/or Java related certification
