Test Lead

Location : Middle town NJ

Network Tester Position

Experience in testing is crucial. Candidate should have experience in working in a network lab environment writing and executing detailed test plans. Candidate should understand the process of testing, be able to find bugs and document bugs. The candidate must be able to investigate and implement solutions.

Candidate should have in depth knowledge of TCP/IP computer networking and network protocols. Should have experience at the Internet Service Provider level.

Specifics

• Command line hands on knowledge of Cisco routers and switches including:
• ASR9K running native IOS-XR
• Catalyst 2900 series switches
• Catalyst 6500 series switches
• Cisco GSR platform
• Cisco 7200 platform
• Spirent and IXIA test tools
• SNMP testing (traps and MIBS)

Network Protocols

• Detailed knowledge of BGP, OSPF, static and MPLS routing
• Ability to decode and analyze packets
• Detailed knowledge of Access Control Lists
• Knowledge of SNMP useful

Useful Additional Skills

• UNIX workstation operation, particularly Solaris and LINUX
• Remote Access experience with dial up modems
• Knowledge of database applications built on Oracle
• Ability to write test documentation

Ability to work with vendors on problem resolution
