Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent education, training, certification and experience
Proficient skill developing and tuning SQL – T-SQL, Stored Procedures and Views
Experience with SQL Clusters and Server Integration Services.
Proficient with SQL tools and techniques to manage database file systems, schema and security.
Experience with DB2 a plus.
Experience with SSIS
Experience with SSAS a plus
Experience in creating and maintaining logical and physical data models.
Experience with Data Partitioning strategies, ensuring data is managed through its lifecycle.
MSDBA Certification a plus
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Efficient time management skills and detail-oriented; ability to effectively prioritize and work effectively on multiple simultaneous tasks and provide quality deliverables on schedule in a high-pressure environment
Works well both independently and as part of team
Strong organizational skills with ability to plan, organize, and monitor work
Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, with the ability to communicate with technical and non-technical users and effectively work with product vendors and support personnel
