Our client is seeking an MS Dynamics Application Architect to join their Washington, DC area team. We are looking for someone with experience to support finance users with day-to-day activities including responding to how-to questions in Great Plains, creating integration scripts for manual loads of invoices/memos, researching and unlocking manual batches that are hung, managing the nightly run of automated integration, posting batches, and kicking off nightly automated batches using smart connect. Additionally, during failure, within GP, figuring out the point where the batch load failed, trying to rollback if possible, creating scripts to unlock the batch and working with the DBA/production support. Also, if deadlocked, working alongside the DBAs to find a solution and implementing the backlog development items within the pipeline of GP, and/or reporting within GP.
In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics Applications (MS CRM, Great Plains ERP).
Knowledge of GP Web Services.
Capable of participating with the Enterprise Architecture team and elaborating on interfaces between the custom applications and Microsoft Systems.
Must understand application logs and be able to participate in root cause analysis.
Knowledge of integrating MS Dynamics tools with each other, with SharePoint and with AD.
Experience upgrading GP and MS CRM.
Knowledge of regulatory requirements, i.e.: PCI, ISO.
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer science or related field.
Experience using SSRS for CRM and GP, Forecaster, FRx/Management Reporter, Business Analyzer and SmartList.
2+ years’ experience customizing CRM by building plug-ins and workflows.
2+ years’ experience in developing integrations and postings in GP.
Experience with tools from AD Studio, Scribe, and North52.
Experience working with SharePoint web, part installation and configuration, portal site customization and setting up securities.
MS Dynamics certified.
