(You can find them on Facebook.) After beginning with 20 employees last year, the Redwood City company has grown to more than 200 today, and has opened new studios in San Francisco and China. Now, with $30 million in new funding, Kabam has big hiring plans. It wants to bring on nearly 600 new employees, including 200 engineers familiar with PHP, Ruby on Rails, MySQL, CSS, Java and Flash. The company also needs engineers for its technical operations team to maintain the increasing number of servers required to keep the games going.
