Atlas Systems was founded in May 2003 as an offshore development partner for J.D. Power and Associates. Our original core competencies in the automotive value chain included providing retail dealer groups with web-based interactive data analytics tools to promote training resources and performance measurement. The success that this initial venture provided led to a similar collaboration in 2004 with RegEd, one of the leading providers of full-spectrum compliance solutions. Through this venture, clients get cutting-edge compliance management in the contracting, financial and insurance arenas.
In 2005, we were asked to help NetIQ develop their Risk and Compliance Center solution. This automated dashboard solution analyzed data to demonstrate compliance with company IT regulations. The success of this security management solution led to another project, in which Atlas Systems was asked to spearhead the Hyundai Business Operations and Project Management office.
Our Chennai office opened in 2006, and the following year we completed our new Bangalore development center. This expansion was in response to an increase in SAP development projects and new clients requiring engineering services. Our engineering services division offers conventional capabilities such as drafting and modeling, but we also offer high end online project management tools and manufacturing and IT support. These services include reverse engineering, alternate designs and life cycle development.
