As the Chief Technology Officer, you&#8217;ll be responsible for spearheading our technology roadmap, ensuring that our offering continues to meet client demands. In addition, you&#8217;ll be responsible for managing budgets and setting goals and expectations for vice presidents and managers so that our vision is aligned throughout the entire organization. You should be a leader, a strategic thinker and passionate about what our team is accomplishing today, and what we will accomplish in the future.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-cto-responsibilities\"><strong>CTO Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Setting the vision for how technology plays a roll in overall company goals and product roadmaps.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Outlining the goals for technology research and development, as well as the overall budget needs.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Creating roadmaps and timelines for the design, development and deployment of all technological services and features.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Discover and implement new technologies that yield competitive advantage.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Track, analyze and monitor technology performance metrics, and pivot strategies based off of those results.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Supervise system infrastructure to ensure functionality and efficiency.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Build quality assurance and data protection processes to align client expectations.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Partner with product and sales teams to ensure alignment.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Use stakeholder feedback to inform ongoing improvements and adjustments to technology offering.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-cto-requirements\"><strong>CTO Requirements:<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Proven experience as a CTO or in a similar leadership role.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Bachelor&#8217;s degree in computer science, engineering or a related field; MBA or other relevant graduate degree is preferred.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Proven experience of business planning and technology roadmap development.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>In-depth knowledge of web systems architecture, design and development.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Very strong communication, interpersonal and leadership skills.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Effective negotiation and vendor management skills.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ability to align strategies and ideas across multiple teams and departments.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Experience with technology relative to industry; Python, Apache Kafka, Kubernetes, .Net, C#, SQL Server, jQuery, Angular, IIS, GitHub, Grunt\/Gulp, Node.JS.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-media-text is-stacked-on-mobile\"><figure class=\"wp-block-media-text__media\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"768\" height=\"403\" src=\"https:\/\/www.dice.com\/hiring\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/12\/1h2023-industrytjr-erc-card-aerospace-defense.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-999884545 size-full\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.dice.com\/hiring\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/12\/1h2023-industrytjr-erc-card-aerospace-defense.jpg.webp 768w, https:\/\/www.dice.com\/hiring\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/12\/1h2023-industrytjr-erc-card-aerospace-defense-300x157.jpg.webp 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 768px) 100vw, 768px\" \/><\/figure><div class=\"wp-block-media-text__content\">\n<p>Dice dives deep into industry-specific hiring trends to deliver the recruiting tips you need to find and hire the right tech talent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.dice.com\/recruiting\/ebooks\/tech-in-aerospace-defense-job-report\/\">Read the Tech in Aerospace and Defense Job Report<\/a><\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Looking for a job posting template for a Chief Technology Officer (CTO) that can help you attract top talent?
