Job Title: ServiceNow Developer

Location: Remote / Onsite (As per client requirement)

Duration: Long-term Contract / Full-time


Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced ServiceNow Developer to design, develop, and implement solutions on the ServiceNow platform. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with ServiceNow modules, scripting, integrations, and workflow automation. The role involves working closely with business stakeholders, architects, and process owners to deliver scalable, high-quality solutions.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, configure, and customize ServiceNow modules such as ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, CSM, and CMDB.

  • Develop and maintain business rules, client scripts, UI policies, UI actions, Script Includes, and Glide API scripting.

  • Implement workflows, Flow Designer flows, and automation solutions.

  • Build and maintain integrations using REST, SOAP, MID Server, and IntegrationHub.

  • Perform platform upgrades, patching, and ensure version stability.

  • Customize forms, fields, tables, ACLs, and data policies.

  • Participate in requirements gathering, solution design, and architecture discussions.

  • Troubleshoot issues, optimize performance, and ensure best practices are followed.

  • Develop reports, dashboards, and performance analytics widgets.

  • Support ServiceNow governance, security, and documentation standards.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Process Owners, QA, Architects) to deliver end-to-end solutions.


Required Skills & Experience:

  • 8+ years of experience as a ServiceNow Developer.

  • Strong hands-on expertise with ServiceNow ITSM, including Incident, Problem, Change, Service Catalog, and CMDB.

  • Experience with JavaScript, Glide API scripting, Jelly, HTML/CSS, and AngularJS (preferred).

  • Experience building integrations using REST, SOAP, MID Server, and IntegrationHub spokes.

  • Experience with Service Portal, widgets, and custom UI development (preferred).

  • Solid understanding of ServiceNow data model, ACLs, roles, and security.

  • Experience with Flow Designer, workflows, and automation engine.

  • Familiarity with ITOM, Discovery, Event Management, HRSD, or CSM is a strong plus.

  • Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.

  • ServiceNow certifications such as:

    • CSA Certified System Administrator (mandatory)

    • CAD Certified Application Developer

    • CIS (ITSM, HRSD, Discovery, CSM, etc.) preferred
