Position Summary
The position of Sr. Electrical SCADA Engineer is primarily responsible for supporting the engineering team and will be one of the site's electrical experts responsible for monitoring and coordination of Samsung power distribution monitoring systems.

The current base salary range for this role is between $81,490 and $179,090 Individual base pay rates will depend on factors including duties, work location, education, skills, qualifications and experience. Total compensation for this position will include a competitive benefits package and may include participation in company incentive compensation programs, which are based on factors to include organizational and individual performance.

Position Summary
The position of Sr. Electrical SCADA Engineer is primarily responsible for supporting the engineering team and will be one of the site's electrical experts responsible for monitoring and coordination of Samsung power distribution monitoring systems.
Role and Responsibilities
- Monitoring the power distribution system through eFMCS/SCADA and its capacity/utilization trends
- Performing alarm management and rationalization of alarms
- Performing critical signal trending & monitoring to proactively identify adverse conditions
- Ensuring power monitoring system uptime and performance
- Managing the proper operation and incident response/recovery
- Monitor trends in equipment utilization, capacity and performance
- Development of detailed step plans incorporating risk analysis for all device operations
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in related Engineering field, Electrical or Electronics Engineering highly preferred.
- 3 + years of relevant experience with medium & high voltage electrical distribution.
- 5+ years of relevant experience with SCADA, PLC's, and Network Systems
- Knowledgeable in MV Switchgear and it's Protections.
- Experience in Commissioning, testing, of HV/MV/LV electrical distribution equipment. (Including creation of commissioning procedures etc.)
