Role: Model N Solution Architect
Location: 100% Remote
Duration: Long Term Contract
A Model N Managed Market Solution Architect is a senior-level expert responsible for designing and implementing the technical solutions within the Model N platform related to managed markets (e.g., government pricing and managed care) to ensure revenue optimization and compliance for life sciences clients. This role combines deep functional knowledge of managed market processes with strong technical architecture skills in revenue management software.
Key Responsibilities
- Solution Design & Architecture: Lead the design of end-to-end technical solutions in the Model N platform that meet complex managed market pricing and compliance requirements, including government pricing (AMP, ASP, BP, etc.) and managed care (rebates, contracts).
- Requirement Analysis: Collaborate with business stakeholders and clients to gather, analyze, and document business and technical requirements, ensuring alignment between the proposed solution and business objectives.
- Implementation & Customization: Oversee the development and customization of the Model N product, ensuring the solution integrates seamlessly with existing client systems (e.g., ERP, CRM).
- Compliance & Best Practices: Ensure all solutions adhere to relevant government and managed market regulations and implement Model N's embedded industry best practices and validation rules.
- Stakeholder Communication: Act as a primary technical point of contact for clients and project managers, communicating technical visions, implementation strategies, and project status effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Technical Leadership: Establish and enforce development standards, provide technical guidance to development teams, and participate in project management activities like risk identification and resource planning.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Experience: Extensive experience (typically 10+ years) in software development and solution architecture, with significant hands-on experience in the Model N platform, particularly within the life sciences industry.
- Domain Expertise: Deep understanding of managed market, government pricing, and managed care concepts, including pricing methodologies, contract structures, and compliance frameworks.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in core technologies used in Model N solutions and experience with integration techniques.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills to resolve complex system and data-related issues impacting operations.
- Soft Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication, leadership, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Education: A bachelor s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field is typically required.
