Title: Discovery/SACM Architect(Cloud/Discovery Cloud exp)
Location: Charlotte, NC.
Our challenge
We are seeking a dedicated Discovery/SACM Architect specialized in ServiceNow SPM, Cloud Discovery to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in researching, developing, and maintaining Discovery patterns within ServiceNow, focusing on streamlining service management and portfolio activities. This role requires expertise in pattern development, incident resolution, and working with diverse environments including Windows, Linux, and cloud platforms such as Google Cloud Platform and Azure.
Responsibilities:
- Research, troubleshoot, and resolve issues related to ServiceNow Discovery patterns within the SPM scope.
- Develop, update, and optimize Discovery patterns to support ServiceNow Service Portfolio Management activities.
- Handle incidents related to Discovery workflows, ensuring timely resolution.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate Service Mapping and Discovery processes.
- Maintain detailed documentation of discovery patterns, procedures, and solutions.
- Stay updated with best practices and new features related to ServiceNow Discovery and SPM.
- Implement pattern improvements to enhance data accuracy and discovery efficiency.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in ServiceNow Discovery Pattern Development, specifically within SPM contexts.
- Strong OS expertise in Windows and Linux environments.
- Proficiency in Regular Expressions (Regex) for pattern matching and data extraction.
- Knowledge of Cloud Concepts, including Google Cloud Platform and Azure.
- Active ServiceNow CSA (Certified System Administrator) and CAD (Certified Application Developer) certifications.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with technical and non-technical teams.
