Primary Location: Mechanicsville, Virginia
V-Soft Consulting is currently hiring for a Business Systems Analyst for our premier client in Mechanicsville, Virginia.
Education and Experience
- Experience with HR systems and eCommerce implementation.
- Writes clear, accurate and measurable requirements in the format of user stories with acceptance criteria: 3 years.
- Creates and maintains documentation used to communicate business process information, system functionality and other materials needed for support: 3 years.
- Experience writing interface requirements and related documentation such as source to target mapping: 3 years.
- Facilitates, leads and participates in effective meetings to understand the problem/opportunity, gathers requirements and facilitates UAT: 3 years.
- Writes basic SQL queries (select statements only) to find, analyze and summarize data findings: 2 years.
- Experience learning new systems, processes and procedures: 3 years.
- Balances multiple complex assignments with minimal assistance: 3 years.
- Tracks down the source & details surrounding a problem/opportunity, accurately analyzes it and clearly identifies the activities needed to address it: 3 years.
- Full SDLC experience on agile, waterfall and hybrid methodologies: 5 years.
Highly desired:
- Ability to read and interpret vendor API information: 1 year.
- Experience as a BSA supporting or implementing HR and/or eCommerce systems: 1 year.
- Experience working with and partnering with vendor support: 1 year.
- Experience using Atlassian JIRA to manage requirements: 1 year.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Demonstrate excellent meeting facilitation and time management during the course of assignments.
- Demonstrate flexibility in dealing with shifting priorities and the ability to manage and balance multiple assignments at the same time.
- Competently and professionally interact with, set expectations and resolve requirements & prioritization conflicts with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Have excellent level appropriate and concise communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365 Applications for Enterprise (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio).
- Proven knowledge of Web Application Concepts.
- Proven knowledge of Client / Server Application Concepts.
- Effective Meeting Facilitation, Conflict Resolution and Negotiation skills.
- Mentor & provide guidance to junior members of the team.
