As a Full Stack Developer Intern, you will be part of the Health and Life Science software development team, contributing to the design, development, and implementation of web-based applications. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies and gain hands-on experience in full stack development.

Pay Transparency: The hourly rate for SAS internships is determined by the applicant's year in school and the position they are hired into. Hourly rates range from $15 - $31 for associate's/bachelor's level positions and $29 - $49/hour for master's/Ph. D positions. Internship roles are not eligible for bonus.

As a Full Stack Developer Intern, you will be part of the Health and Life Science software development team, contributing to the design, development, and implementation of web-based applications. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies and gain hands-on experience in full stack development.
As an intern, you might:
- Collaborate with Team Members: Work alongside experienced developers, UI/UX designers, and project managers to contribute to ongoing projects.
- Develop and Test Code: Assist in developing front-end and back-end code for new features and applications, ensuring functionality across various platforms.
- Problem-Solving: Participate in troubleshooting and debugging processes, providing innovative solutions to technical challenges.
- Learn and Grow: Actively engage in learning opportunities to stay abreast of new technologies and best practices in full stack development.
- Contribute to Design and Planning: Participate in planning sessions, offering ideas and insights for system architecture and application design.
Required Qualifications
- Students currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to interpret financial data and generate actionable insights.
- You've got programing experience in one or more of the following languages: Java, python, R, SAS, Golang
- Work Hours: Available to work 15-20 hours per week during the academic year and full-time hours during the summer of 2025.
- You're curious, passionate, authentic, and accountable. These are our values and influence everything we do.
- Strong communication skills - both written and verbal.
- Leadership abilities. Your past experiences demonstrate you'll take initiative and go above and beyond the call of duty.
- You're interested in the future of Analytics and embrace technology.
- You're a college student enrolled in an accredited program, not graduating prior to December 2025.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Exposure to web frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js for front-end; Express.js, Django for back-end).
- Basic understanding of Agile methodologies.
