Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Automation QA Engineer with strong expertise in Selenium, Cucumber, and hands-on experience in both Web and Mobile application testing. The ideal candidate will have up to 7 years of experience in designing, maintaining, and executing automation frameworks to improve test efficiency and product quality.
Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, maintain, and execute automation scripts for web and mobile applications using Selenium.
  • Implement and enhance BDD frameworks using Cucumber.
  • Perform functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing.
  • Work closely with developers, product owners, and QA leads to clarify requirements and test scenarios.
  • Identify, analyze, and document defects; track them through resolution.
  • Collaborate in Agile/Scrum teams and participate in sprint planning, review, and retrospective meetings.
  • Optimize automation frameworks to increase coverage, stability, and maintainability.
  • Provide regular status updates on test progress and quality metrics.
Mandatory Skills
  • Automation Testing Strong hands-on experience.
  • Selenium WebDriver Required for Web & Mobile testing.
  • Web Testing UI, functional, cross-browser, end-to-end.
  • Mobile Testing Android/iOS automation experience (Appium is a plus).
  • Cucumber (BDD) Strong experience writing Gherkin scenarios.
  • Core understanding of QA methodologies, STLC, and SDLC.
Nice-to-Have Skills
  • Experience with Appium for mobile automation (preferred).
  • Knowledge of Java or Python scripting.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab, etc.).
  • Familiarity with API testing (Postman, REST Assured).
  • Experience working with cloud-based device farms (BrowserStack, Sauce Labs).
Qualifications
  • Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • 3 7 years of professional QA automation experience.
  • Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
