About the Role
We're working with a client who's looking for a DevOps & Cloud Engineer to support their Network Operations Team. This role offers exposure to cloud platforms, virtualization, networking, storage, Windows/Linux servers, and a variety of .NET and Java-based applications. You'll be supporting microservices applications running in Kubernetes and managing infrastructure across cloud data centers.

We're working with a client who's looking for a DevOps & Cloud Engineer to support their Network Operations Team. This role offers exposure to cloud platforms, virtualization, networking, storage, Windows/Linux servers, and a variety of .NET and Java-based applications. You'll be supporting microservices applications running in Kubernetes and managing infrastructure across cloud data centers.
Responsibilities
- Build, design, and maintain both simple and complex technology stacks
- Automate manual processes to improve DevOps efficiency
- Collaborate across teams to solve problems and meet deadlines
- Support application migration from data centers to the cloud
- Participate in on-call and patching rotations
- Research and evaluate new technologies and solutions
- Manage multiple tasks independently and effectively
Required Skills & Experience
- Cloud Platforms: 3+ years with AWS and/or Azure (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS)
- Kubernetes: Setup, upgrade, admin, troubleshooting (EKS/AKS, eksctl, Azure CLI, kubeadm)
- Infrastructure as Code: Experience with Terraform, Pulumi, or CloudFormation
- CI/CD Pipelines: Building and troubleshooting deployment pipelines
- Servers: Windows and/or Linux troubleshooting experience
- Monitoring Tools: Familiarity with Datadog, CloudWatch, NewRelic, Solarwinds, or Uptrends
- Scripting: Python, Bash, or PowerShell
- Networking: Understanding of subnetting, DNS, route tables, security groups, and ACLs
- Security: Knowledge of cloud security best practices
Bonus Skills
- Experience working alongside architects or contributing to architecture-level decisions
- Exposure to network infrastructure and break-fix scenarios
- Windows server scripting experience
