Job Details

A DoD subcontracting company in Philadelphia is looking for an Information Systems Security Engineer to provide support on their contracts with the US Navy. The need somebody who can work a hybrid schedule at the Philadelphia Navy Yard. This person will support security engineering projects to ensure secure, reliable, uninterrupted availability systems and networks. This person will be expected to have 5+ years of experience, preferably in the defense industry, and should have a secret clearance. They will design, implement, and test secure systems, networks and architecture. Should be familiar with RMF, NIST, STIGs, and SRGs. They will work with the client and other SMEs to develop authorization boundary guidelines, architecture diagrams, and hardware/software inventories. Another major responsibility will be to implement, maintain, and analyze vulnerability scanners. Great opportunity for an experienced DoD security engineer to continue their career in that sector and make an impact on the security operations of the US Navy. Required Skills & Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in DoD security
  • Secret clearance or ability to obtain one
  • Knowledge of:
    • Vulnerability Scanning
    • Hardware vulnerability
    • RMF
    • Security architecture
