Role Overview:

The Power Systems Application Developer is responsible for advanced Power Systems Application software development and successful delivery of assigned functions to meet corporate and project commitments.
The role involves close collaboration with Electric Utilities, Independent System Operators (ISOs), and Transmission System Operators (TSOs) to define, design, and implement customized Energy Management Systems (EMS) solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with Electric Utilities, ISOs, and TSOs to define functional software specifications.
Design, develop, code, test, and integrate Power Systems Application software components.
Customize and deliver Energy Management Systems (EMS), preferably GE e-terra AEMS - Reliance.
Conduct application tuning and ensure optimal system performance and stability.
Support the successful delivery of assigned project functions in alignment with corporate goals.

Essential Skills:

5+ years of experience customizing and delivering Energy Management Systems (preferably GE e-terra AEMS - Reliance).
5+ years of hands-on experience with C, Java, or related programming languages.
5+ years of experience with GE AEMS Reliance source design and development.
5+ years of experience working in the electric utility industry.
Proficiency in Linux and Windows Operating Systems.
Strong working knowledge of Oracle Database.

Desirable Skills:

Experience with Smallworld, ADMS, AEMS, DERMS systems or related technologies.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and system optimization skills.
Ability to collaborate effectively across geographically distributed teams.
