Jr Test Engineer

We are seeking a Junior Quality Assurance Engineer to join our organization and contribute towards testing a Health care product for our client. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring application stability and quality assurance at all stages of software development and deployment. You will conduct manual tests to ensure the software created by the engineers is fit for purpose and any bugs or issues are removed before it gets deployed to everyday users.

You will also be directly working with the tech and product teams to ensure platform efficiency, performance and stability.

Location: Bay area, CA or  Sacramento, CA

Experience: 3+ years

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements, test plans and test cases.

Perform functional, regression testing to ensure the quality and reliability of software applications.

Analyse test results and troubleshoot issues to identify root causes and provide actionable recommendations for improvement.

Maintain and enhance existing test cases to adapt to changes gap in software requirements

Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes and methodologies within the organization.

Requirements:

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.

-  3 years of experience in software testing,

 - Demonstrated the ability to follow SDLC & QA process and standards

- Perform functional, regression testing to ensure the quality and reliability of software applications.

- knowledge to debug the issue and identify the root cause

- Solid understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and best practices.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

- Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
