Our dynamic and evolutionary client is seeking to contract a highly capable and motivated Digital I&C Process Engineer.
Location: Remote
Length of Assignment: 12+ months

Responsibilities
- Assess corporate digital procedures and tools for use by the reactor digital component lifecycle process and provide input for alignment as appropriate.
- Develop, and implement procedures, forms, work guides, tools, and training material related to the digital component lifecycle including digital specific instructions for design control, configuration management, and other engineering processes.
- Authoring the process documents including procedures and plans using the requirements and methods selected for the project.
- Author the training & familiarization materials to prepare individuals to design, develop, and deliver digital components to the process.
- Coordinate with other departments for cross-discipline procedure reviews and support tool implementation.
- Support the change management and rollout of the training and the process.
- Review digital development status for digital components in the non-nuclear scale mockup.
- Support planning the transition of digital components from the non-nuclear scale mockup phase to the quality implementation phase for reactor deliverables.
- Support planning the discovery and capture of digital equipment and associated configurations.
Requirements
- B.S. or higher in relevant engineering discipline from an accredited university.
- 3 years of nuclear energy engineering experience OR 5 years of experience writing nuclear power plant procedures.
Qualifications
- 2 years of experience in NQA-1 Subpart 2.7.
- Preferred to have IEEE 1012 or EPRI process for designing, developing, procuring, and delivering digital components and configurations.
- Experience in writing guides or instructions to support processes and procedures
- Experience in generating training material.
- Digital development experience including requirement definition through testing cycle.
- Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively with stakeholders to understand and resolve issues.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Working knowledge of Electronic Document Management System (EDMS) for submitting documentation, initiating and completing workflows
- Working knowledge of digital development support tools for version control, work tracking, work tracking, and logging such as GitHub, Confluence, and / or Jira.
- Attention to detail and aspiration for procedural excellence
- The successful candidate will possess a high degree of trust and integrity, communicate openly and display respect and a desire to foster teamwork.
Estimated Compensation Range: $60.00 - $85.00 per hour. This range represents the estimated low end and high end of the compensation range for this position. All experience levels considered.
