Job Title: Card Test Lead
Job Type: Contract
Job Description:
Pay Range: $65hr - $70hr
- The Credit Card Migration Test Lead will be responsible for leading end-to-end testing efforts within the Cards & Payments domain, focusing on credit card platforms and migration projects.
- This role requires deep domain expertise, strong leadership skills, and the ability to coordinate testing activities across multiple teams to ensure successful migration and compliance with industry standards.
- Extensive experience in the Cards & Payments domain, with a strong focus on credit card platforms.
In-depth understanding of end-to-end card functionalities including:
Card origination.- Product changes.
- Fraud transfers.
- Payment allocation.
- Fees and financial charges.
- Hands-on experience with TSYS-TS2 or similar card processing platforms.
- Proven success in credit card migration testing, including data validation and reconciliation.
- Familiarity with payment networks (Visa, MasterCard, etc.) and transaction processing flows.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage comprehensive testing efforts for credit card migration projects.
- Define and execute test strategies across functional, regression, and user acceptance testing (UAT) phases.
- Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and third-party vendors to ensure full test coverage.
- Validate critical card lifecycle processes such as issuance, authorization, transaction posting, and settlement.
- Oversee defect management, including triage, root cause analysis, and resolution tracking.
- Ensure compliance with PCI-DSS and other applicable regulatory standards.
- Document all test artifacts including test plans, test cases, execution reports, and defect logs for traceability and audit readiness.
- Proficient in test management tools such as JIRA, HP ALM, or equivalent platforms.
- Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to mentor and guide junior testers and offshore testing teams to ensure quality and consistency.
