Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced SAP Project Manager with strong PMO (Project Management Office) experience to lead and oversee SAP implementation and transformation initiatives. The ideal candidate will manage project planning, execution, governance, and delivery while ensuring alignment with business goals and PMO standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead end-to-end delivery of SAP projects, including planning, execution, monitoring, and closure.

  • Establish and maintain PMO processes, templates, and governance frameworks.

  • Manage project scope, timelines, budgets, risks, and quality to ensure successful delivery.

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, technical teams, and external vendors to define project objectives and deliverables.

  • Conduct project status meetings and provide regular updates to leadership and stakeholders.

  • Develop and maintain project documentation, including project plans, RAID logs (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies), and change requests.

  • Ensure adherence to project management best practices (PMI/Agile/Waterfall).

  • Drive continuous improvement in project management processes and methodologies.

  • Support resource planning, financial tracking, and performance reporting in alignment with PMO standards.

  • Work closely with SAP functional and technical leads to ensure timely issue resolution and deliverable completion.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of overall IT project management experience, including 5+ years managing SAP projects (SAP S/4HANA preferred).

  • Proven experience working within or establishing a Project Management Office (PMO) structure.

  • Strong knowledge of SAP modules (Finance, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, etc.) and integration points.

  • Expertise in project management tools (MS Project, JIRA, Smartsheet, ServiceNow PPM, etc.).

  • Strong understanding of project governance, risk management, and change control.

  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills.

  • PMP, Prince2, or SAP Activate certification preferred.

  • Experience with Agile and Waterfall methodologies.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience managing global or multi-country SAP rollouts.

  • Exposure to SAP S/4HANA transformation or migration projects.

  • Experience in financial tracking and reporting to senior leadership.

  • Ability to mentor junior project managers and contribute to PMO maturity.
