Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Windchill Data Migration Specialist to support enterprise-level PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) system migration initiatives. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience migrating data from legacy systems into PTC Windchill, ensuring data accuracy, integrity, and performance optimization throughout the process.

Key Responsibilities

Plan, design, and execute end-to-end Windchill data migration projects.
Analyze legacy PLM and CAD data structures, mapping, and conversion requirements.
Develop and implement scripts, tools, and procedures to automate data migration processes.
Validate migrated data for consistency, completeness, and quality assurance.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including PLM administrators, developers, and engineering stakeholders.
Document migration processes, error logs, and test results for auditing and future reference.
Provide technical support during the validation and go-live phases.

Required Skills and Experience

- - Strong knowledge of Windchill architecture, data model, and APIs.
  - Proficiency in Java, XML, SQL, and scripting languages (Python, Shell, etc.).
  - Experienced with tools such as PTC Windchill Bulk Migrator, Windchill Loader, or similar utilities.
  - Understanding of CAD data management and configuration management principles.
  - Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Windchill version 11.x or later.
Familiarity with ETL processes and data validation techniques.
Experience in large-scale global migration or system integration projects.
PTC certification in Windchill administration or development is a plus.
